I hate headlines like the one of this posts, where opinions are stated as facts. YouTube isn’t really dying.
I agree that the ad-based model is getting out of the hand and the subscription is still too high for most of the people to pay for it, hence the light version they introduced recently and I am sure they will figure it out from there.
The bigger problem for YouTube though is its recommendation, it’s nothing compared to TikTok’s much better recommendation. Once they fix that, the better quality content won’t be buried under the garbage content anymore
